CHEC Project Update

CHEC Foundation has recently supported project in DC Metro area and in India:
  • The CHEC Foundation funded  cancer treatment grant request  for five children who are battling with cancer and are being treated at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre, New Delhi, India (RGCIRC). The RGCIRC is a visionary project of Indraprastha Cancer Society and Research Centre aimed at providing the best of Oncological Care to those who need it. Very proud to support this health initiative through our foundation. (2023)
  • The CHEC Foundation funded  Pediatric Surgery & Education grant request  for forty childrens who have no resources are being treated at Swami Vivekananda Medical Mission, Kerala, India (SVMM). The SVMM Hospital providing free medical services and School providing free and quality education with Indian values for tribal students. Very proud to support this health &  education initiatives through our foundation. (2023)

  • The CHEC Foundation funded iScreen Vision Screener 3000 request and thank you note to purchase a pediatric photo screening vision machine that captures images of a child’s eye to detect visual abnormalities. Patients from infancy to school-age will be screened at Germantown Health Center. With the proper screening equipment, visual acuity can be assessed at an earlier age and stage at the Center of Holy Cross Health Foundation, Silver Spring (HCFF). The HCHF serves children who are uninsured or enrolled in Medicaid. Very proud to support this health initiative through our foundation. (2020)
  • The CHEC Foundation funded Chrome Books request to purchase 10 chrome books for students to use at home while Phillips School, Fairfax is closed due to the COVID – 19 pandemic. Phillips School offer special education day school programs for students in elementary through high school in nationally acclaimed facilities for students for whom public or other specialized schools were not successful. Very proud to support this health and education initiative through our foundation. (2020)
  • The CHEC Foundation funded cancer treatment grant request for a child to battle Hodgkin Lymphoma by being able to receive Bone marrow transplant Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre, New Delhi, India (RGCIRC). The RGCIRC is a visionary project of Indraprastha Cancer Society and Research Centre aimed at providing the best of Oncological Care to those who need it.   • The CHEC Foundation funded healthy snacks grant request will provide one year’s supply of the daily requirements of milk and fruit for 80 girls at Institute Sahasra Deepika International for Education, Banglore, India (SIDE). The SIDE provides a stable, caring environment and well-rounded education for girls from kindergarten to 10th standard. Very proud to support this education initiative through our foundation. (2019)
  • The CHEC Foundation funded varnish kits grant request and thank you & benefit notes for fluoride varnish kits for the pediatric patients at the Center of Holy Cross Health Foundation, Silver Spring (HCFF).   • Rajni Goel and Vandana Narang presenting a check from the CHEC Foundation to Howard University Middle School of Mathematics and Science (HUMSMS ).
